Piano Lessons

Craig teaches beginners through advanced levels (ages 6 and up) in his home studio. While studying piano, students learn to read music, improvise, sight read, and express music eloquently like some of the great masters. Each student gets one-on-one lessons once per week in 30, 45 and 60 minute intervals at which students learn the discipline of practicing and preparing music from our biannual “Celebration of Music Recital” (in May and December).

Guitar Lessons

Excited to learn to play the guitar but don’t have any experience? Craig teaches guitar lessons in his home studio. Each student gets one-on-one lessons once per week in 30, 45 and 60 minute intervals at which students learn the discipline of practicing and preparing music from our biannual “Celebration of Music Recital” (in May and December). Students are required to have their own guitar for the lessons so that they can practice outside of the studio time. Craig also offers recording sessions in his home recording studio where students can play (and sing if they choose) while having their music recorded, mixed and edited for distribution.

Music composition, Songwriting, and Music Theory

For students interested in a broader understanding of music, Craig teaches music composition, songwriting, theory and history. These lessons are interactive where each student receives one-on-one lessons, once per week. Students can also bring in songs or pieces that they have been working on so that Craig can help guide the music to a successful conclusion, performance, and recording. Composition students are encouraged to have their music performed at one of the biannual “Celebration of Music Recitals” (in May and December).
